Direct Reduction of Iron Ore
London/Teesside 30 March 2026: Binding Solutions Limited (“BSL” or the “Company”) is pleased to publish a presentation given by Ian Moore, Senior Scientist, at the Sustain Conference in March 2026.
The presentation covered how cold agglomerated pelletisation can further decarbonise the Direct Reduction supply chain, alongside additional benefits.
Ian is an experienced chemist who has worked in ironmaking research and development for 19 years. He held roles at Corus, Tata Steel and the Materials Processing Institute prior to joining Binding Solutions in the position of Senior Scientist, specialising in the development of cold agglomerated iron ore pellet technology. In 2018, Ian completed a PhD at Warwick University on blast furnace coal injection.
